Summertime in the Red Sea
Summertime is the best time of the year to see many different schools of fish that would not normally be found in the Red Sea during most of the year. That’s because during the summer, many different species of fish that will usually be found in pairs or small groups, will get together in larger breeding schools during the summer. For this reason, divers can witness more courting dances and matings in the summer months. Fish that would normally swim in mated pairs like the Butterflyfish, or in small schools up to ten or twenty, could be found in schools ranging in size from dozens to many hundreds or even thousands.
