Sea Level Education: Above and Below
In 2004, a group of junior high students from Cincinnati began their scuba certification classes on weekends. An exciting part of this certification was that many of their parents and even one grandparent attended the classroom sessions necessary towards certification. After the classroom sessions were finished with a final written exam that everyone passed, this group of students and adults traveled to Anthony’s Key Resort to do their open-water dives that would complete their certification.
